Let’s dive into something many entrepreneurs face—embracing changes in business. Sometimes our business takes unexpected turns, and those moments can be unsettling. But I’ve learned that when you embrace those changes, even if they’re not part of the original plan, you often open yourself up to even greater opportunities. When it comes to business there will be different seasons.
As I enter this new season of entrepreneurship, I’ve been reflecting on what I truly want out of my business and how I can best serve my clients. One of the biggest changes I’m making is shifting to a boutique agency model. This means I’ll be limiting myself to working with just five clients at a time. Now, I know that might sound restrictive, but trust me—there’s a reason behind it.
Why a Boutique Agency?
In the past, my agency handled a large number of clients across various industries, and I had a bigger team to manage. While that worked for a while, I realized that I was spreading myself thin. Between endless team meetings and project management, I found myself feeling overwhelmed. And that’s not why I started my business.
So, I decided to scale down and focus on a more boutique approach. This allows me to give my clients the 1:1 attention they deserve. One thing about larger agencies is that, often, clients get passed off to project managers or assistants and rarely hear from the person running the agency. That’s not how I want to operate.
With my new model, you’ll only be communicating with me. I’ll be involved in every aspect of your business—from strategy sessions to feedback. Yes, I still have a small but mighty team, like social media managers, but every single piece of work that goes out will have my personal stamp of approval. I take quality control seriously, and I want to make sure we exceed your expectations.
More Focus, Higher Quality
By keeping my client base small, I can dedicate more time to each client, which means higher quality service. One of my biggest values is communication—and I believe it’s essential to any successful business relationship. You won’t be waiting days to hear back from me or feel like you’re just another number in a sea of clients. With me, you’re getting all of my focus and expertise.
This boutique model also means we’re able to specialize even more. My agency serves the financial industry exclusively, focusing on social media and email marketing. That’s it. We don’t try to be a jack-of-all-trades; instead, we’ve honed in on these two key areas and become experts at them. We dive deep into research, keep up with industry changes, and consistently deliver high-quality work that meets the unique needs of financial professionals.
Personal Relationships Matter
One thing I love about this smaller client base is that we’re able to build personal relationships with our clients. It’s not just about business for me—life impacts business. The better I understand what’s going on in your life, the better I can support your business. I recently had a call with a client where we spent an extra 15 minutes just talking about life—her recent trip and my move to Sevilla. That connection is what I want more of in my business.
Why I’m Limiting Myself to 5 Clients
I know limiting myself to five clients might seem like a risky move, but it’s intentional. This allows me to dive deep into your business and ensure you’re getting the best of what I have to offer. You’re not just another project for me—you’re a priority.
And while I know we’re not the cheapest option out there, I’ve worked hard to remain affordable for financial professionals. Our services start at $1,200, but we’re willing to work with you on creating a custom package that fits your budget—just no $500 dreams for full-service, please! We’ll make sure the package works for both of us in a way that delivers the value you need.
Moving Forward: Quality Over Quantity
At the end of the day, this shift is about quality over quantity. I’m not interested in being the biggest agency out there—I’m focused on being the best at what we do. My past and current clients consistently praise our level of care, attention to detail, and the genuine passion we have for their businesses.
So, in this season of change, I’ve honed in on what I want to offer: high-touch, high-quality services that give financial professionals an amazing experience. I’m excited about this next step in my journey, and I can’t wait to continue serving the financial industry in a way that feels meaningful to me.
If you’re a financial professional going through changes in your business, I encourage you to embrace them. Those changes might just lead you to something even better than you imagined.
